Design

Parade’s exacting design process uses expert traditional hand-crafting techniques coupled with state of the art technology to advance initial inspiration from detailed sketches to extraordinary final products.

Our jewelry development team collaborates with Parade’s artists to create sketches of new designs for our collections, carefully selecting only the most exceptional styles.

Protoypes of these selected styles are then created by our production department, only to be reviewed and perfected further by development and quality control.

Final pieces are meticulously hand crafted using only the finest materials, resulting in thoughtful, phenomenal designs that are created to last a lifetime. Lyria Leaves wedding band

Technique

Casting

Our jewelry artisans use only the finest metal alloys in a precisely controlled environment to produce the highest quality castings possible. A combination of traditional and state of the art laser technology are used to fabricate and assemble any and all components. Strictest controls and procedures ensure maximum decrease in porosity, increased precision, durability, and uniformity to ensure the best possible foundation for a perfect finish.

Setting

Each and every stone is set by hand, secured by our expert jewelers using precision hand-held tools. The technique and skill of our jewelers ensure that stones are even and level, with just the right amount of pressure applied to finesse prongs, beads, and walls around precious stones to ensure a tight and secure setting.

Polishing

A multi-stage process, metal is buffed and polished with a variety of materials, from coarse to fine to produce the desired luster, from mirror-like high polish to a soft satin finish.

Finishing Details

Milgrain

French for “a thousand grains,” milgrain is a technique which adorns the edges of jewelry showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and artistic design. Parade’s advanced milgrain technique results in a delicate patterned edge that resembles a tiny line of defined beads or grains, adding intricate texture and fine detail.

Stamp

As a final touch, each and every piece of jewelry is marked with an 18K and Parade hallmark to indicate metal quality and Parade authenticity.

Parade Quality

Metals

Only the finest quality metals are used in Parade jewelry: 18 karat white, yellow, and rose gold, and platinum.  Our white gold is alloyed with palladium, to ensure lasting white color and as a higher quality alternative to nickel- ensuring that our designs will suit even those with the most sensitive skin.

Stones

Parade artisans insist upon utilizing only the finest gems; our white diamonds are color rated at G-H or higher, and clarity rated at VS-SI or higher.  Diamonds of even higher quality may be used upon request (E-F color and VS clarity).

Fancy colored diamonds and colored gemstones are carefully sorted and hand selected for color, vibrancy and clarity, and carefully matched for each design.

Quality Control

Each design is carefully inspected by our quality control department to ensure perfection.
